Spider-Man 2099 is another interesting continuity for Spider-Man. In Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man is no longer Peter Parker but Miguel O’Hara an engineer specializing in genetics research. Miguel received his power after subjecting himself to a process he created which alters animal DNA. Resulting Miguel was no longer a human, but he was subjected to a spider’s.
